Norway

There is Embassy-level representation between the two countries. The Greek Embassy in Oslo opened in 1980.

Political Relations

Both countries are members of NATO, and collaborate closely within the institutional framework governing relations between the European Union and the EEA.

Cultural Relations and Greek Community

The Greek community is estimated to number some 1,700 persons, with the majority residing in Oslo and smaller numbers residing in other cities, such as Stavanger and Bergen.
