Tanzania

Our country is represented in Tanzania via parallel accreditation of its Embassy in Nairobi (Kenya).

Political Relations

Relations between the two countries are very good, and bilateral and multilateral cooperation is satisfactory.

Some 150 Greeks, among them several significant businesspeople, live in Tanzania. St. Constantine’s International School operates in the northern city of Arusha, whereas an Honorary Consulate under Mr. William-Konstantinos Ferentinos operates in the country’s capital Dar Es Salaam, which is also the seat of the Greek community. In 2005, the Holy Archdiocese of Irinoupolis was inaugurated.
