Foreign Ministry announcement on the false and groundless information alleging a delay in the translation of the judgement on the Siemens case by the Foreign Ministry’s Translation Service

Tuesday, 12 July 2016

The Foreign Ministry’s Translation Service, despite its huge workload, completed the voluminous 1,580-page translation job and delivered the judgement in question, in a timely manner, to the Appeals Prosecution. Specifically, the first 700 translated pages were delivered on 2 November 2015, and the remaining 800 pages were delivered on 15 May 2016.

Despite this fact, groundless reports were spread by certain parties today, regarding a supposed delay in the translation of the judgement on the Siemens case by the Foreign Ministry’s Translation Service.

The Foreign Ministry calls on the competent judicial authorities to find and hold responsible those who maliciously and purposely spread this false and groundless information.
