Mai bis 2. Juni findet das diesjährige Beachvolleyball „Masters-Turnier“ im Strandbad Baden, Niederösterreich, statt. Griechenland wird von Jorgos Kotsilianos und Nikos Soupanis vertreten. Die beiden Beachvolleyballspieler nehmen an Turnieren auf der ganzen Welt teil und letztes Jahr haben sie bei derselben Veranstaltung die Silbermedaille gewonnen; dieses Jahr streben Kotsilianos und Soupanis die Goldmedaille an und damit einen hoffnungsvollen Start in die vorolympische Periode. Die Mannschaft braucht auch die Unterstützung der in Österreich lebenden Griechen für das „Masters-Turnier“ in Baden! Laut dem Bericht, der am 21. Mai in Brüssel präsentiert wurde, sind Zypern und Luxemburg mit 100% an der Spitze der Länder mit ausgezeichneter Wasserqualität, während in Österreich die Werte bei 73,7% liegen.
