Secretary / Personal Assistant to the Ambassador
The Embassy of the Hellenic Republic in Helsinki is seeking to employ for the post of Secretary / Personal Assistant to the Ambassador.
The main duties and responsibilities of the job include:
Organize and maintain the Ambassador's programme, including setting up meetings, appointments and travel.
Request and ensure relevant paperwork from Ministries and Agencies and provide relevant briefings in good time.
Organization of visitor programmes.
Co-ordination and preparation of Embassy events.
Daily correspondence and various other tasks.
Working long hours and weekends may be occasionally required.
Required qualifications include:
Fluent verbal and written knowledge of Finnish, at least very good verbal knowledge of Greek and good knowledge of English (written and verbal).
Proficiency in the use of standard Microsoft Office applications.
Previous relevant work experience and familiarity with diplomatic etiquette is an advantage.
Strong organizational skills, good attention to detail, ability to work independently and in a team, as well as initiative and innovative spirit.
