IMPORTANT NOTICE - VISA APPLICATION PROCESS
Step 1 :
Please choose the right visa category for you (e.g. for tourism or other purpose), and read carefully all sections including Documents required before proceeding with your visa application.
Please be informed that only prepaid hotel reservations will be considered valid. No free-cancellation reservations from booking.com or similar websites will be accepted.
Step 2 :
Mandatory– In order to book an appointment please complete, in full, the standard Application form as found on http://www.mfa.gr/missionsabroad/en/pristina-en/visas and attach it to the email with which you request an appointment. Same applies for families (all family members’ applications must be completed and attached to the email). Please note that the Application Form should not be handwritten or scanned. The email requesting the appointment should then be sent to the following email address: email@example.com
You should submit your visa application no more than 90 days prior to your date of travel.
Step 3 :
An email will be sent to you confirming receipt of your application and informing you about the date of your appointment.
Step 4 :
Print the Application form you sent by email, sign it and bring it with you along with all the supporting documents needed on the scheduled date and time of your Visa appointment. On the appointment day please ensure that you print your appointment letter and bring it with you at the Liaison Office of Greece.
Please carry the originals and a copy of all documents.
All applicants traveling must apply in person. If the applicant is a minor/under the age of 18 both parental authorities or legal guardians need to be present when submitting the visa application. Exceptions to this should be made if the single parent with whom the minor is to travel holds the parental authority alone. The single parent should submit an official document that proves he/she is the only parental authority (e.g. birth certificate of the minor indicating only one parent), death certificate, divorce or custody agreement.
If the application is complete, your passport, application form and documents will be held temporarily by the Office. Please note that you cannot claim the passport during the application process. If you have to take your passport for whatever reason, the application will be canceled and you will need to re-apply.
Please plan ahead and make an appointment request well in advance, especially for summer and other holiday seasons.
