How to apply for a Schengen Visa

Visa Section

The Visa Section of the Greek Embassy in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, would like to inform applicants that as of Sunday 10/9/2017 the following will apply regarding the Section’s operation:

Sunday- Thursday

9:30 to 12:00: Submission of applications for Schengen visas.

Please note that no appointments will be arranged. Applicants will be able to submit the documents required for obtaining a Schengen Visa for 9:30 to 12:00, on working days.

All applicants have to present in person at the premises of the Greek Embassy in Riyadh, in order to submit their application.

You are kindly requested to carefully prepare your application by thoroughly filling and signing the application form (can be downloaded from the Consular Section’s  website) and provide the required documents exactly  as listed on the official website.

Failing to provide the required documents at the time of the application is reason for refusal.

Sunday - Thursday

14:00 to 16:00: Applicants collect passports with visa or get information on pending applications.

Applicants are invited not to contact the Consular Section if they have not received a phone call by our staff, informing them that the procedure of the evaluation of their application has been completed. 

Consulate General of Greece in Jeddah

The Visa Department of the Consulate General of Greece in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, would like to inform you that from Sunday 02/11/2014 onwards the following will apply regarding the Department’s operation:

Monday - Thursday

9:30 to 12:00
: Submission of applications for Schengen visas.

A total of 25 applications per day will be accepted subject to appointment given by the Consulate through email sent to with subject: “VISA APPLICATION”

On Sundays the Visa Section will not accept applications for Schengen visas

  • In the text of the message sent to the Consulate for visa appointment applicants should mention: name and surname of each one of the applicants, passport number, nationality, date of birth, visit purpose, other Schengen visas and contact telephone number. In case the applicant is invited by an individual or a company please attach, if possible, a copy of the invitation letter.
  • All applicants have to present in person at the premises of the Consulate General on the date and time of the appointment.
  • You are requested to carefully prepare your application by thoroughly filling the application form (can be downloaded from the Consulate’s website) and providing the required documents as listed on the official website www.mfa.gr/jeddah

15:00 to 16:00
