Depending on the duration and purpose of your journey to Greece, you may apply for a short-term “Schengen visa” or a long-term “national visa” for a stay of longer than 90 days.

To facilitate visa applicants, the Greek Consulate General in Istanbul has outsourced the collection of visa applications and biometric data to Kosmos Vize for the area of Istanbul and to VFS Global for the area of Bursa.

Visa applicants may lodge their application at the closest Visa Center either to Kosmos Vize or to VFS Global. The additional cost of the service fee is paid directly to Kosmos Vize or VFS Global and amounts to 20 Euros.

Alternatively, you may also make an appointment to lodge your visa application to the Consulate General of Greece in Istanbul on the street Turnacıbaşı Sok. 22, Beyoğlu, 34433.

The Greek Consulate General in Istanbul receives public for visa matters every Tuesday 9:30-13:30, on a priority basis.

Applicants for National Visas-D type can collect their passports every Monday from 9:30-13:00.

For any other matter you may communicate with us by calling to the +90 212 393 8290/1/2/4 during week days from 13:30-16:00 or by sending an email ##0 or to ##2.

Georgian and Ukrainian Citizens holders of biometric passports are no longer need a Schengen Visa.

Applications for Schengen visas may also be lodged by accredited travel agencies (Istanbul area and Bursa area), provided the applicants’ fingerprints have been registered in the VIS within the previous 59 months.
