Born June 17, 1949 in Yiannitsa Greece
Academic qualifications:
Law Degree, Aristoteles University of Thessaloniki, Greece
Master’s Degree in Public Law and Political Science, Aristoteles University of Thessaloniki, Greece
Career:
Mr. Andreades joined the Foreign Service in 1983 and during the period
1983-1984 attended the Diplomatic Academy of the Greek M.F.A.
1984-1988 Served at the Central Service of the MFA in Athens, first in the Directorate for Communications, Archives etc. and later in the Directorate for the bilateral Economic Relations with the countries practicing a market economy.
1988-1992 Served as Consul in Adelaide, Australia
1993-1996 Served in the Central Service MFA, in the Directorate for International Organizations and Conference
1996-2000 Served as Alternate Permanent Representative of Greece to ICAO in Montreal, Canada
2000-2002 Served in the Greek Embassy in Damascus, Syria as Head of the Political Section
2002-2004 Served in the Central Service at the Directorate for International Organizations and Conferences, as Head of the Section for Disarmament and International Security.
2004-2007 Served as First Counselor at the Permanent Mission of Greece to the U.N. in charge of the Desk for First Committee of the General Assembly (Disarmament and International Security), while at the same time he was representing Greece to two Committees of the Security Council, which were dealing with terrorism.
2007-2009 Served as First Counselor at the Greek Embassy in New Delhi, India, as head of the Political Section
2009 Promoted to the rank of Ambassador (Minister Plenipotentiary)
2009 Assumed his duties as Consul General in San Francisco.

Married to Demetra Rassia, father of two daughters and a son
