Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Venizelos’ statement regarding the terrorist attack on the offices of the French newspaper “Charlie Hebdo”

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Evangelos Venizelos made the following statement regarding the deadly terrorist attack on the offices of the French newspaper “Charlie Hebdo”:

“We express our outrage at and unequivocal condemnation of the monstrous and barbaric deadly terrorist attack on the offices of the French newspaper “Charlie Hebdo”, in Paris.

Our deepest condolences to the victims’ loved ones, to the French people and to the French authorities.

We assure the French government that Greece remains at its side as a firm ally of those who fight for freedom and against terrorism.”
