The first representation of Greece in Hong Kong was established in form of an Honorary Consulate, in 1946, with the appointment of Mr. Cedric Blaker as Honorary Consul. In 1960, the Honorary Consulate was upgraded to Honorary Consulate General and it operated under this status until 1996, under W.S.Tsang, being the last Honorary Consul General.
In 1996, the mission was upgraded to a full-fledged Consulate eneral.
The Consulate General’s jurisdiction includes the Special Administrative Regions of Hong Kong and Macao.
