VISA NOTICE 关于签证申请的重要通知

希腊驻广州总领事馆谨此通知居住于本馆领区内（福建、广东、广西、贵州、海南、湖南、云南）的中国公民及在华外籍人士，希腊签证申请中心将于2026年1月1日起暂停运营（官网：https://cn-gr.gvcworld.eu/cn；邮箱： ）。自2026年1月1日起，直至另行通知，所有有意申请赴希腊的申根签证申请人须亲自前往希腊驻广州总领事馆递交签证申请。1月份希腊驻广州总领事馆接受目的地仅为希腊，且出发时间在一月内的签证申请。预计在1月后出发的申请人请等待后续其他公告通知。

1月2日开始，申请人可以通过电子邮件预约，将签证材料扫描版发送至 。请书写邮件主题为：出发时间+姓名+申请人数。下文附常见问题回答，如有其他疑问，可咨询电子邮件 或电话 020 85501114 / 85501124与我们联系。(此邮箱自1月2日生效）2025年通过希腊签证申请中心提交申请的申请人，其护照及已完成全部审理流程（已有最终决定）的申请结果将由原受理的签证中心进行退还。

Τhe Consulate General of Greece in Guangzhou informs Chinese citizens and foreign nationals in China residing in the provinces under our jurisdiction (Fujian, Guangdong, Guangxi, Guizhou, Hainan, Hunan, Yunan) that the current Greek Visa Application Center will suspend its operation from the 1st January 2026. Starting from 1st January 2026 and until further notice, all interested individuals must submit their Schengen visa applications for Greece directly and in person to the Consulate. In January, the Consulate accepts visa applications for those whose travel destination is only Greece and whose departure time is within January. For those who plan to depart after January, please stay tuned for further announcements.

From 2nd of January, the interested applicants will need to first submit their visa documents (scanned pdf file or zip document) by email at . Please write the email subject in the following format (Departure Date + Name + Number of Applicants) and send the visa application materials along with your preferred appointment date. Applicants who have already applied through the GVCW in 2025, will have their passports and fully processed applications (with final decision) be returned to them by the visa center in which they applied.

如何判断自己能否在希腊驻广州总领事馆递交申请 Can I submit in Guangzhou：申请人户口所在地应为广东，广西，福建，贵州，海南，云南，湖南。对于户口和工作地不在同一省区的申请人，须持有签发三个月以上且有效的居住证复印件。外籍申请人须持有签发 3 个月以上且签证到期后仍有效的居住证明复印件（面试时须出示原件）。申请人还需持有满足以下条件的护照用于申请：护照有效期在回中国之后不少于三个月内；不少于两页空白签证页；护照签发时间在最近十年之内且护照完整无损。

The applicants whose Household registration (HUKOU) locate in our jurisdiction in Guangdong, Guangxi, Fujian, Guizhou, Hainan, Yunnan, or Hunan can apply here. If not, the holder of a valid residence permit inside our jurisdiction issued at least three months prior can apply here. Foreign applicants must provide a copy of a valid residence permit issued at least three months prior and valid beyond the Greek visa's expiry date. Additionally, your passport must be valid for at least three months after your return to China, contain at least two blank visa pages, have been issued within the last ten years, and be in good condition.

Until further notice, the Greek Consulate General in Guangzhou will only accept visa applications for those whose travel destination is exclusively Greece and whose scheduled departure is within January 2026. After receiving a compliant and complete appointment request email, the scheduled appointment time will be sent to you via a reply email.

•    签证费用和支付方式 Visa fee and payment method：签证费需支付人民币现金。2026年1月申根签证费用为765元/人，十二周岁以下的申请人及欧盟公民直系亲属免签证费用。请自备零钱。

The visa fee will be collected in cash (CNY) at the Consulate. For January 2026, the Schengen visa fee is 765 RMB per person. Applicants under the age of twelve and direct family members of EU citizens are exempt from the visa fee. Please bring exact change.

•    是否需要本人到场递交和采集指纹 Do I need to appear in person：申请人需本人亲自到场递交申请和采集生物信息。十二周岁以下申请人无需到场，监护人可代为递交。

Yes. Applicants must appear in person to submit their application and provide biometric information. Applicants under the age of twelve are not required to be present; a guardian may submit the application on their behalf.¨

•    审理签证时长 Visa Processing Time:

审理签证申请的时长为自递交申请之日起15个自然日内，特殊情况可能相应延长。由于紧急需求，出发时间紧迫且签证材料完整符合要求的预约将会被优先处理。

The processing time is 15 days from the date of submission. In special cases, this period may be extended. Due to urgent needs, appointments with imminent departure dates and complete, compliant visa materials will be prioritized for processing.

•    领取方式 How to pick up my passport：申请审核结束后，您将收到邮件通知。申请最终结果和护照需由申请人本人持身份证和收据到馆领取，无法快递。如需委托他人代领，请在签证递交时提交委托书（内容包括但不限于委托人和被委托人的姓名，证件号码，委托事项，委托人本人亲笔签名，联系方式），被委托人需携带身份证和委托书复印件到馆代领。

You will be informed via email when the application finish. The final decision and the passport must be collected in person by the applicant at the Consulate upon presentation of their ID card and the receipt. Mailing services are not available. If you need to authorize another person to collect the documents on your behalf, please submit a Letter of Authorization (including, but not limited to, the names and ID numbers of both the applicant and the authorized person, the purpose of authorization, the applicant’s original signature, and contact information) at the time of visa submission. The authorized person must bring his/her ID card and a copy of the authorization letter to collect the documents.
