Greek Authorities do not recognize divorces issued in Denmark. For their recognition by the Greek Authorities, the following are required:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
-Submission of the Danish divorce decree to the Family Affairs Office (Familiestyrelsen)<\/strong> of the Danish Ministry of Justice, which certifies (with an official stamp) that the divorce is final and irrevocable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n -Authentication of the document with an Apostille<\/strong> by the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Legalisation Department \/ Legalisering).<\/p>\n\n\n\n -Translation of the document into Greek by a sworn translator.<\/p>\n\n\n\n -Submission to our Authority of the original divorce decree and its official translation for certification.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Finally, the certified document must be sent, through a lawyer, to the Court of First Instance (\u03a0\u03c1\u03c9\u03c4\u03bf\u03b4\u03b9\u03ba\u03b5\u03af\u03bf) of the municipality in which the interested party is registered.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Greek Authorities do not recognize divorces issued in Denmark.
