Greece and Bahrain established international relations in 1973. The Greek Embassy in Kuwait is accredited to represent our country in Bahrain.

Political Relations

Greece and Bahrain have always had friendly relations, due, among other things, to a Greek presence going back to the early Hellenistic period.

Some 150 Greeks reside in Bahrain. There is no Greek Community or Greek Orthodox church.
