Greece has not an Embassy in Khartoum and it is represented through the Greek Embassy in Cairo. Since 2009, Sudan has set up its Embassy in Athens.

Political Relations

Relations between Greece and Sudan are very good. A Political Cooperation Memorandum has been signed.

Greeks have been in Sudan since the early 20th century and today the local community numbers about 250 members, working mainly in industry and trade.
