{"id":729,"date":"2026-04-22T12:59:34","date_gmt":"2026-04-22T12:59:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mfa.gr\/ireland\/welcome-to-your-e-proxeneio\/"},"modified":"2026-04-22T12:59:34","modified_gmt":"2026-04-22T12:59:34","slug":"welcome-to-your-e-proxeneio","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.mfa.gr\/ireland\/en\/welcome-to-your-e-proxeneio\/","title":{"rendered":"Welcome to your e-proxeneio!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The <strong>Digital Request Management Service<\/strong> for citizens through the Consular Authorities ( <strong>\u03a8.\u03a5.\u0391. \/ e-proxeneio<\/strong> ), a flagship component of the \u201cTransformation of Consular Services Procedures\u201d project of the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs, has been operational internally within our Consular Authorities for some time.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>The Digital Service is now also accessible to citizens, enabling them to submit their requests remotely to the Consular Authority responsible for their place of residence.<\/strong> Greek citizens abroad and members of the Greek diaspora thus gain an open channel of electronic communication with the Consular Authority of their district, ensuring more efficient and faster service, sparing them multiple trips and reducing the need to visit the Consular Authority on numerous occasions.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Access is available through the entry point <strong><a class=\"external\" href=\"https:\/\/e-proxeneio.mfa.gr\" target=\"_blank\">https:\/\/e-proxeneio.mfa.gr<\/a><\/strong> of most Consular Authorities (except a few, for the time being, due to local conditions) and is possible, alternatively :\u00a0<br \/>\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0using the citizens\u2019 taxisnet credentials, if available;\u00a0<br \/>\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0or by receiving one-time passwords (OTP) at their email address, in case they wish to use this service as guests;\u00a0<br \/>\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0or using credentials obtained following a one-time brief authentication process carried out by the competent Consular Authority either in person at<br \/>\nthe Consulate or digitally via email.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">More specifically, the Digital Service encompasses the following functions:\u00a0<br \/>\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0digital submission of citizens\u2019 requests;\u00a0<br \/>\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0digital submission of required supporting documents;\u00a0<br \/>\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0digital review of requests by the Consular Authority staff;\u00a0<br \/>\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0online payment of consular service fees;\u00a0<br \/>\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0production and digital delivery of requested documents to citizens;\u00a0<br \/>\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0scheduling of the citizen\u2019s visit (appointment) to the Consular Authority, for services that cannot be completed remotely.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Moreover, the traditional in-person mode of communication with the Consular Authorities remains in force.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>This Project is implemented under the \u201cTransformation of Consular Services Procedures\u201d project and is co-financed by the Operational Programme \u201cPUBLIC SECTOR REFORM\u201d, within the framework of the ESIF, by the ESF and National Resources.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"Welcome to your e-proxeneio !\" src=\"https:\/\/www.mfa.gr\/missionsabroad\/images\/stories\/espa_2014-2020.jpg\" alt=\"Welcome to your e-proxeneio !\" width=\"600\" height=\"138\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Digital Request Management Service for citizens through the Consular Authorities ( \u03a8.\u03a5.\u0391. \/ e-proxeneio ), a flagship component of the \u201cTransformation of Consular Services Procedures\u201d project of the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs, has been operational internally within our Consular Authorities for some time.
