General Information on entry Visas<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Depending on the duration and purpose of your journey to Greece, you may apply for a short-term \u201cSchengen visa\u201d or a long-term \u201cnational visa\u201d for a stay of longer than 90 days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Before applying for a visa please make sure that you have read carefully the below information on \u201cSchengen Visas\u201d and \u201cLodging of Visa Application\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Use of mobile phones is not allowed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022\u00a0The\u00a0<\/path><\/svg><\/span> visa fee<\/a>\u00a0should be paid in cash\u00a0and if possible, with the exact amount.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Collection of passports is allocated on Fridays, 10am to 2pm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Process of lodging your application:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022\u00a0Visa applications must be submitted in person and by appointment only<\/strong>. To book a visa appointment, please click\u00a0here<\/a>\u00a0(or click on the e-appointments icon on our web page) where one can look for available\u00a0(coloured white)\u00a0time slots for appointments (blue colour means that the slot is already booked and grey colour means that there are no slots\u00a0allocated).\u00a0\u00a0Due to the high volume of applicants, applicants should try to secure an appointment\u00a0as early as possible<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 In order to login to the booking system, you need to register first by providing your email address and a password of your preference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Appointments for VISA applications will be allocated Monday to Thursday, <\/strong> except Greek and\/or Irish public holidays and, in any case, as they appear on the online booking system. A slot can be allocated to one applicant or a family of up to two persons. In the latter case, please write the names of the applicants during the booking process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 When booking your appointment online, please state in the comments your travel dates and the reason for travel e.g. business, school trip, tourism, health etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Once you have booked your appointment online, you will receive a confirmation email.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022\u00a0Prepare an A4 envelope with your application form\u00a0and\u00a0all the required supporting documents, <\/path><\/svg><\/span>\u00a0in the order mentioned<\/a>, and a printout of your confirmation email.\u00a0Please include\u00a0photocopies of previous schengen visas that you might have in previous passports of yours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 When you arrive for your appointment, you should have the envelope you prepared along with your current passport<\/strong> and GNIB<\/strong> (IRP) card (if any).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Only one person is allowed at the reception area (except in cases of minor children).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 EU family members<\/strong> should also book an appointment - please mention that you are EU family member when you book the appointment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
