European Day of Languages

 The European Commission Representation in Estonia celebrated on September 28, 2015 the European Day of Languages, with the participation of Embassies in Tallinn. This year’s theme was devoted to Homer’s Odyssey. The celebration included a reading game in various European languages of a part of the Odyssey, and as a prize the winner received a book on Odyssey, offered by the Greek Embassy in Tallinn. The reading in Greek was gracefully performed by Ms. Kristina Tammes, student at the University of Tartu.  The event included an exhibition of printed books of the Odyssey in various languages.
