Ambassador Michalopoulos' visit to Malaysia

On 22 and 23 January 2026 the Ambassador of Greece in Jakarta, Mr. D. Michalopoulos traveled to Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia for meetings with the resident Ambassadors of the EU.  He participated, among others, at the EU-Malaysia Media Night, where he had the opportunity to exchange views with journalists and to present his country's current situation and the prospects of bilateral cooperation.
During his presence in Kuala Lumpur, Mr. D. Michalopoulos took part in an event organised by the Honorary Consul, Mr. St. Plainiotis, in which members of the ex-pat Greek community were also present.  It was the first meeting of its kind in the Malaysian capitol where a Greek Ambassador took part.
