New guidelines for travelling from Israel to Greece

According to the new regulation valid from 29.3.2021,permanent residents of Israel(all nationalities) can fly to Greece.

All passengers must have a PCR test performed maximum 72 hours prior to their arrival and the results should be in English (including the full name and passport number).

Minors up to 10 years old are exempt from PCR test.

All passengers must also fill the PLF ( https://travel.gov.gr/#/ )before their departure.Upon arrival in Greece all passengers must present proof of their temporary residence in Greece.

A Covid-19 test will be randomly performed upon arrival in Greece.All persons entering the country in any way and from any foreign country, will be subject to mandatory precautionary restriction (quarantine) at home or at the place of  their temporary residence declared in the PLF form, for 7 days, unless they remain in Greece for a shorter period of time, in which case the temporary restriction will apply for that period of time.

Travelers holding a Vaccination Certificate, are excluded from the obligation to mandatory precautionary restriction.The Vaccination Certificate must state,in English the following:
a)name and surname of the traveler,
b)the type of the vaccine and
c)the number of vaccination doses administered.

Note 1: Vaccination Certificate holders are not excluded from the obligation to have negative PCR test before arrival in Greece.

Note 2: Patients recovered from COVID-19, without a Vaccination Certificate are obliged to a 7-day mandatory precaucionary restriction (see above).

Only travelers with connecting flights to other Greek destinations will be tested to their final destination and will be obliged to isolate there.

International to international transfer passengers,upon arrival to Greece, will not go through COVID-19 test, nor they need to fill in the PLF and will proceed directly to Security Control and on to their departing gate.

Reminder: Travelers who need a visa for the Schengen Area must acquire a visa prior to their departure.
