Greek Language Day in Benghazi

On the occasion of the International Greek Language Day (February 9), the Consulate General of Greece in Benghazi organized a cultural event on February 7.
The event featured a lecture by Dr. Angeliki Sigourou, Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of the Aegean, entitled "The Greek Language in Libya."
The lecture took place at the European School of Benghazi, which belongs to the Greek Community of Benghazi. The event was attended by members of the diplomatic corps, local officials, and more than 150 guests.
