Reception on 25 March

The Ambassador of Greece to Luxembourg hosted a reception on 25 March at the Cercle Cité for the National Anniversary of Greece.

The entire Diplomatic Corps, high-ranking officials of the Luxembourg Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Greek officers of the NATO NSPA service, Greek and Cypriot Judges of the European Jurisdictional Institutions, numerous representatives of the business community, as well as members of the Greek diaspora, were present.

This year's celebration of 25 March was particularly significant, as it also marked 200 years since the heroic Exodus of Messolonghi - a defining moment of courage and sacrifice during the Greek Struggle for Independence, which continues to inspire global commitment to freedom and human dignity.

The evening offered a meaningful opportunity to reflect on Greece’s historical journey and its continued commitment to international cooperation and European unity. The warm presence and participation of our guests highlighted the strong and ever-growing ties between Greece and Luxembourg.
