Depending on the duration and purpose of your journey to Greece, you may apply for a short-term “Schengen visa” or a long-term “national visa” for a stay of longer than 90 days.
To facilitate visa applicants, the Greek Consulate General in Istanbul has outsourced the collection of visa applications and biometric data to Kosmos Vize for the areas of Istanbul and Trabzon and for the area of Bursa.
Visa applicants may lodge their application at the closest Visa Center of Kosmos Vize. The additional cost of the service fee is paid directly to Kosmos Vize and amounts to 20 Euros.
Alternatively, you may also make an appointment to lodge your visa application to the Consulate General of Greece in Istanbul on the street Turnacıbaşı Sok. 22, Beyoğlu, 34433.

The Consulate General of Greece in Istanbul is open to the public for visa issues every Tuesday from 9:30 to 13:00, by appointment.
Georgian and Ukrainian Citizens holders of biometric passports are no longer need a Schengen Visa.
It is reminded that according to the Schengen Visa Code all third country citizens, who are subject to visa obligation, should be in possession of a valid visa in order to enter Greece legally.
Applications for Schengen visas may also be lodged by accredited travel agencies (Istanbul and Trabzon areas and Bursa area), provided the applicants’ fingerprints have been registered in the VIS within the previous 59 months.
