A relative of the deceased or an authorised employee of the Funeral Directors must attend in person.

\u2022 Application for declaration of death<\/strong> to the Consular Office in London detailing information from the deceased\u2019s unique tax number (\u0391.F.\u039c.), Social Security record number (\u0391.\u039c.\u039a.\u0391.) and insurance agency in Greece<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Original death certificate issued by the British Authorities duly legalized with an APOSTILLE stamp <\/a><\/strong><\/path><\/svg><\/span> from the competent British Authorities<\/strong>. A translation of the death certificate is not required. Please keep in mind that the registration will not be completed, unless the submitted certificate is legalized with the Apostille stamp.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Greek passport or ID card<\/strong> of the deceased.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Valid passport or ID card<\/strong> of the informant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fees:<\/strong><\/td>The declaration itself 10\u20ac sterling equivalent.
Copies 10\u20ac sterling equivalent.
Payment in cash or by UK issued debit or credit card.

For documents that authentication of the original signature is required, it is priced at 10 Euros for Greek\/EU citizens and 30 Euros for third country nationals equivalent in Sterling.<\/td><\/tr>
