The Consulate General would like to inform Greek nationals as well as Greek Australians who are permanent residents of the Hellenic Republic and who await repatriation that according to a decision published in the Official Gazette no. 1127, there is a special procedure in place for all those who are repatriated to Greece.
All passengers arriving at Athens International Airport “Eleftherios Venizelos” are escorted to a hotel where tests will be carried out to determine whether those passengers have contracted the COVIC-19 virus. The passengers will remain at the hotel until they receive the results of their tests. The results will be made known to them in a period not exceeding 24 hours. Those found negative to the COVID-19 virus will be able to leave the hotel for their domicile, where they will remain isolated for a period of fourteen (14) days. Those found positive will remain at the hotel where their health will be monitored by doctors.
