Greek Wine and Gastronomy Festival : Epirus 2019 (28.3.2019)

On March 28th 2019, the “Greek Wine and Gastronomy Festival : Epirus 2019” took place at Regent hotel in Singapore. The event, which was organized by the Embassy of Greece in cooperation with the Region of Epirus, gathered twenty one companies producing agricultural products from Epirus. The companies had the opportunity to showcase their products in a specially prepared for the event space. At the same time, chefs from Epirus, members of the delegation, prepared traditional recipes with products from Epirus (fresh fish, traditional pies, trachana, cheese and salads) highlighting the unique flavours and the authentic gastronomic wealth of the region. The event was addressed to food & beverage companies and companies from the trade sector.

Speeches were delivered at the event by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Greece, Mr. Quick, in the framework of his working visit to Singapore, and by the Ambassador of Greece, Mrs Koliou. Mr. Quick expressed, among others, his satisfaction for the organization of the first such event in Singapore showcasing agricultural products from Epirus.
