CGL Soars with Success!
It is with great delight that I announce the success of the below-listed candidates in this year’s Centre for the Greek Language (CGL) examinations. The examinations, which were held at St. Andrew’s Grammar in May 2016, had the highest number of candidates ever in the twelve-year history of the Centre. The CGL at St. Andrew’s Grammar, an officially-recognised Examination Centre for these exams from Greece, has been in operation since 2005.
The grades that can be achieved for passing or all four segmentsof each of the examinations, or all five segmentsif Level B2 and beyond, are ‘Excellent’, ‘Very Good’ and ‘Good’. Our candidates this year achieved mostly a grade of ‘Excellent’, with some achieving a grade of ‘Very Good’. The percentages were as follows: ‘Excellent’ = 75% and ‘Very Good’ = 25%.
