The Anzac Centenary Memorial Walk was opened in Adelaide on April 23, 2016. This monument, which is erected in the framework of the 100 years since the outbreak of the First World War, includes a reference to "Greece/Crete" as a place where the Australians fought, as well as a phrase from the Epitaph of Pericles.
