Ambassador Konstantinos Kollias joined the Diplomatic Service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Hellenic Republic in 1993.
1993–1995: Embassy Attaché, A3 Directorate for Southeast European Countries, Athens
1995–1997: Secretary of Embassy (Political Section) at the Embassy in Tirana /Albania
1997–2001: Head of the Consular Office & Political SectionOfficerat the Embassyin Madrid / Spain
2001–2003: Assignment to the Office of the Secretary General for Administration & Organization, Athens
2003–2008: Embassy Counsellor for Political Affairs at theEmbassy in Nicosia / Cyprus
2008–2010: Director of the Office of the Secretary General for European Affairs, Athens
2010–2015: Embassy Counsellor & Chargé d’Affaires (for a certain time), Embassy in Bucharest / Romania
2015–2016: Director of the Office of the Secretary General for International Economic Relations & Development Cooperation, Athens
In 2016, he was promoted to Minister Plenipotentiary.
2016–2018: Director, B7 Directorate – International Energy Affairs, Athens
2018–2021: Director, A2 Cyprus Directorate, Athens
2021–2025: Permanent Representative of Greece to the OSCE (Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe),Vienna / Austria
On September 12, 2025, he presented his credentials to Η.Ε. the President of the Republic of Cyprus, Mr. Nikos Christodoulides, as Ambassador of Greece.
He was born in Athens in 1964 and studied Political Sciences and Law at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.He speaks English, French, and Spanish.
He is married and has two children.
He was honored with the Grand Commander of the Order of the Phoenix (Hellenic Republic), the Commander of the Order of Makarios III (Republic of Cyprus)and the Grand Cross of the Order of Merit of the Republic of Cyprus.
