Strengthening Greek–Luxembourg cooperation in secure satellite communications and European resilience

The Ambassador of Greece to Luxembourg, Ms Christina Alexopoulou, visited GovSat on 25 September 2025, in Château Betzdorf, to meet with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Mr Patrick Biewer, the Manager of Satellite Secure Operations, Mr Theocharis Sidiropoulos and the Manager of Governmental Satellite Communications, Mrs Kerstin Roost, and had the chance to witness first-hand Luxembourg’s vision and dedication to advancing secure satellite communications.

The visit reaffirmed the excellent relations between Greece and Luxembourg, built on trust and a shared commitment to strengthening Europe. This partnership creates valuable opportunities for cooperation in technology, defence, and space, while also highlighting the importance of working together to address today’s common challenges.

The deepening of these ties, can contribute to a more resilient Europe and to the promotion of stability, peace and prosperity.
