DEATH REGISTRATION (SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS)

SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS FOR DEATH REGISTRATION ACT

In order for a death to be registered by our Authority, the deceased must have passed away in one of the regions under the responsibility of the Consular Office of the Embassy in Skopje. 


Supporting documents:

1. Passport or ID card of the person reporting the death.

2. Greek passport or Greek ID card of the deceased.

3. Certificate of marital status of the deceased. The certificate can be obtained by the Consular Office.

4. Original Death registration act.
The document must bear the Apostille stamp. The certificate and the Apostille shall be officially translated in Greek.
NOTE: The aforementioned death registration act will not be returned and it will be kept in our Authority's Archives.

5. Medical Certificate regarding the cause of death with its official translation into Greek.


COST: 10€ for the original act and 10€ for each copy thereof (Paid in euros in cash)
