HOSPITALIZATION

Greeks who have been hospitalized abroad can submit the relevant hospitalization documents (invoices, medical certificates) to the nearest Consular Authority of Greece, in order to be certified and then sent to the competent insurance institution in Greece. If they are in Greece, they can alternatively send them for approval to the Consular Authority of Greece in the country of their hospitalization through the H2 Directorate of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and then send them to the competent insurance institution.
