HOW TO ACCESS MYTAXISNET?

1. Receive a Tax Identification Number (AFM)

2. Create an account

3. Activate the account

1) You will first need a Greek Tax Identification Number (AFM)

The Greek Tax Identification Number (ΑFΜ) and is issued to Greek and foreign citizens by the Greek Public Fiscal Services (D.O.Y.). If you cannot issue one in Greece, you can authorize someone else to request the issuance in your place. You may fill out the authorization form, appear at the Consular Office, and sign it in front of the Consular Officer, who then certifies the authenticity of your signature.

COST:  10€ for Greek and EU citizens, 30€ for third-country nationals

2) After that, you can set up your account at MyTaxisNet. First, search for the website:

https://www1.gsis.gr/registration/chooseRegistrationType.htm

Then choose “Initial Registration”

Enter a username and password of your choice.

3) For security reasons, in order to activate your account, a special code called "authentication key " will be provided to you. It is a multi-digit code that is used once. This code is also provided by the Public Fiscal Services (D.O.Y.).

To retrieve the special code, you can either:

a) claim it in person by going to the Greek D.O.Y. in which you belong,

b) authorize someone else to collect it in your place, again at the Greek D.O.Y. in which you belong, (see above regarding the authorization).
