An evening of music and poetry dedicated to Yorgos Seferis

The Department of Greek Studies of the University of Bucharest and the Hellenic-Romanian Chamber of Commerce, under the aegis of the Embassy of the Hellenic Republic in Bucharest, will present a cultural event dedicated to the work of the Nobelist Greek Poet and Nobel laureate Yorgos Seferis

Programme:

• Lecture by H.E. the Ambassador of the Hellenic Republic Mr. Vassilis Papadopoulos (Yorgos Seferis - between diplomacy and poetry)
• Lecture by the Professor of Linguistics of the University of Athens Mr. Haralampakis (Language and Style of Yorgos Seferis)
• Concert by composer Stefanos Korkolis and soprano Sofia Manousaki (Mikis Theodorakis’ music – Y. Seferis poetry)
