Visit of the Ambassador V. Papadopoulos to the historical city of Braila – Opening Ceremony of the permanent exhibition “Andreas Empirikos” – Meetings with representatives of the Greek community and local government 24.09.2017

The inauguration of the “Andreas Empirikos” permanent exhibition took place at the “Carol I” Museum of Braila, former house of Empirikos in the “Nica Petre” Hall. The son of the poet, historian, donated to the Museum a collection of personal objects belonging to Andreas Empirikos, photographic material and copies of his books.

On this occasion of his visit, the Ambassador visited the premises of the Greek Community of Braila, where he met the President of the Community, Mr. Mavrokefalos. Moreover, the Ambassador has meeting with the Mayor of the city, Mr. Viorel Marian Dragomir and with the President of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture Mr. Stefan Fusea.
