Workshop on "Investment Opportunities in Romania and Business Financing Tools" (Bucharest, 31/10/2017)

The event, organized by the Bilateral Hellenic-Romanian Chamber of Commerce and the Economic under the auspices of the Embassy of the Hellenic Republic and was successfully held yesterday at Mariott Hotel in Bucharest. The workshop, attended by executives of Hellenic companies based in Romania, representatives of Hellenic, Romanian, European and international financial institutions (Alpha Bank, Piraeus Bank, EximBank, UniCredit, Banca Transilvania, EBRD), members of foreign delegations in Bucharest and representatives of Romanian Ministry of Finance. It fully met the objective of informing the Hellenic business community operating in Romania about the use of financial programs and investment development of their businesses.

The speakers were the Deputy General Manager of Piraeus Bank Mr. Athanasios Psathas, the Ambassador of the Hellenic Republic in Bucharest H.E. Mr. Vasilis Papadopoulos, the President of the Hellenic-Romanian Chamber of Commerce Mr Christodoulos Seferis and the Head of the Commercial Department of the Austrian Embassy Gerd Bommer.

Overall, the event was particularly successful given both the excellent organization and its very high participation (over 150 Greek entrepreneurs from a wide range of business sectors).
