The outrage against the murder of Pavlos Fyssas is obvious to all democratic citizens; sorrow cannot be expressed in words.
Unfortunately, what has not yet been self-evident is that it is time to assume responsibility and direct political decisiveness in the battle against this phenomenon.
The institutional vigilance and social awakening are necessary conditions, along with the political determination to combat a repulsive phenomenon.
We have the means.
Our country has a strong democratic tradition and a bright past of struggles for the protection of human rights and freedom. We all have the duty not to allow any space to fascism – not even an inch.
