The Embassy of Greece in the United Kingdom, the Consular Office in London, and the Consulate General in Manchester will remain closed for the Greek Easter public holidays on Friday 10 April and Monday 13 April.

Notice concerning EU & Schengen area countries travel restrictions due to COVID-19 pandemic prevention
- As a temporary measure, for a period of one month the EU & Schengen area member-states decided to restrict non-essential travel of non-EU nationals to their countries. This does not apply to nationals of EU Member States, including the United Kingdom. Consequently, these restrictions do not apply to Greek citizens who wish to return to Greece from any country. Additionally, the Greek authorities will require from travelers to remain in quarantine for a period of 14 days from the date of entry.
-Despite some cancellations and restrictions, there are still flights and air connections between the UK and Greece. As things may change at any time, the Embassy recommends the Greek citizens who wish to return to Greece during this period to do so as soon as possible.
- The Embassy will assist Greek citizens in the UK in the best possible way taking into consideration the urgent measures taken concerning the operation of the Embassy during this period.
