The Embassy of Greece in the United Kingdom, the Consular Office in London, and the Consulate General in Manchester are open daily, except on official Greek public holidays.

Passport collection
After the passport application has been submitted, you can be informed online on its progress by inserting on the above field the 13-digit receipt barcode number adding zeros in the beginning. After you confirm online that the passport has been received at the Consular Office, you can visit to collect it, following the instructions below. Passports are usually issued up to 4 to 6 weeks following the date of application.
Passport collection (working days) according to the following:
Family name starting Α to Κ 9:30-12:00
Family name starting Λ to Ω 12:00-15:00
Passports must be collected in person or by a legal guardian or person dully authorized to do so. In this case, proper identification is required, along with an authorization bearing his/her signature certified by the Greek Consular Office, or an authorisation certified by gov.gr or another official Greek authority.
The application receipt must be provided at the time of the collection.
When collecting the new one you must present your old passport in order for it to be invalidated.
Please note:
- Passports that remain uncollected for more than six months are returned to the competent authorities in Greece.
