1989 – 1993: Secretary of Embassy at the Embassy of Greece to the Holy See (Vatican), Rome, Italy

1993 – 1994: Consul General of Greece in Benghazi, Libyan Arab Jamahiriya

1994 – 1996: Counsellor of Embassy: Director of the Service for Political Affairs of the MFA in Kavala, Eastern Macedonia, Greece

1996 – 2000: First Counsellor at the Permanent Mission of Greece to the United Nations, New York (UNGA, Second Committee, UNSC: Balkan Issues, Caucasus). In 2000 also served as Deputy Permanent Representative of Greece to the UN

2000 – 2004: Consul General of Greece in Cologne, F.R. of Germany

2004 – 2006: National Intelligence Service of Greece (EYP): Chief Advisor to the Director (International relations, international cooperation against terrorism and organized crime)

2006 – 2010: Permanent Representation of Greece to the European Union:

-Head of the External Relations and Enlargement Section. (2006-2008)

-Minister Plenipotentiary and Deputy Permanent Representative of Greece to the European Union (2008-2010)

(Representative of Greece to the EU Committee of the Permanent Representatives I - COREPER I)

2010 – 2012  Director, C1 Department for European Union External Relations & Enlargement, MFA, Athens, Greece

2012 – 2016 Ambassador of Greece to the Republic of Albania
