Anniversary of Pontus' Greeks Genocide: Remembrance events in Yerevan

On May 19, the anniversary of the genocide of the Greeks of Pontus, members of the Greek community of Armenia jointly with the Greek Ambassador to Armenia, Evangelos Tournakis, paid tribute to the genocide victims of Pontus' Greek communities; a horible crime which occured in the second decade of 20th century.

After wreath laying ceremony, the documentary "Lethal Nationalism: The Genocide of the Greeks" was screened at the Armenia Marriott Hotel for the very first time.
