Registrations - Birth

REGISTRATION OF BIRTH OF A CHILD BORN IN NORWAY
(in the presence ofone of the Greek parents)

Α. CHILD BORN IN WEDLOCK
(provided Marriage has been, already, registered by the Greek Authorities)

-    Application Form
-    Original passports of both parents
-    Original Birth Certificate (FØDSELSATTEST) translated and duly legalized with the Stamp of the Hague Convention (Apostille). 
-    Family Status Certificate of the parent with Greek Citizenship (can be issued by our Authority).

Consular Fees: 20 Euro / equivalent amount in NOK  (cash)

Appointment:    Right after emailing a fulfilled copy of the Application Form to: 

Β. CHILD BORN OUT OF WEDLOCK

i.    Mother Greek Citizen
(Father, either Greek or non Greek Citizen)

-    Application Form
-    Original passports of both parents
-   Original Birth Certificate (FØDSELSATTEST) translated and duly legalized with theStamp of the Hague Convention (Apostille).
-   Notarial Recognition Deed by the father of the new-born baby with Greek Citizenship, singed in front of the Greek Consul in Oslo (*).
or
Recognition Deed (Erklæringavfarskap) by the father of the new-born baby without Greek Citizenship, singed in front of the prompt Norwegian Authorities, translated and duly legalized with the Stamp of the Hague Convention (Apostille).
-   Family Status Certificate of the mother (can be issued by our Authority).


Consular Fees: 20 Euro / equivalent amount in NOK  (cash)
(*) plus 60 Euro / equivalent  amount in NOK (cash) for
the Notarial Recognition Deed of the Father with Greek Citizenship

Appointment:    Right after emailing a fulfilled copy of the Application Form to: 


ii. Mother non Greek Citizen
(Father Greek Citizen)

-    Application Form
=    Formal Application addressed to the prompt Greek Authorities on “Recognition of the Citizenship of the new-born baby”.
-    Documentation needed:

-    Original passports of both parents
-    Original Birth Certificate (FØDSELSATTEST) officially translated and duly legalized with the Stamp of the Hague Convention (Apostille).
-    Recognition Deed (Erklæringavfarskap) by the father of the new-born baby, singed in front of the prompt Norwegian Authorities, officially translated and duly legalized with the Stamp of the Hague Convention (Apostille).
-    Family Status Certificate of the mother of the new-born baby issued by the prompt Authorities of the State Country whose Citizenship is bearer, officially translated and duly legalized with the Stamp of the Hague Convention (Apostille).
-   Family Status Certificate of the father of the new-born baby (can be issued by our Authority).

Consular Fees: 100 Euro / equivalent amount in NOK  (cash)
