Decoration of the Ambassador of Greece Mr. Georgios Poukamissas by the President of Romania Mr. Basescu for his contribution to the development of bilateral relations (21.01.2013)

The President of Romania Mr. Traian Basescu awarded the Ambassador of the Hellenic Republic in Bucharest Mr. Georgios Poukamissas, the decoration of the Grand Cross of the Order of Merit, for its active contribution to the development of bilateral relations and dialogue at the highest political level and the one of cultural exchanges.

The decoration took place during a special ceremony at the presidential palace Cotroceni and was preceded by a farewell meeting between the Head of State of Romania and the Ambassador Mr. Poukamissas, whose term will soon be completed.
