Visit of the Minister of Macedonia and Thrace, Mr. Karaoglou (14-17/03/2013)

The Minister of Macedonia and Thrace, Mr. Theodoros Karaoglou visited Bucharest to participate in the Tourism Fair (14-17 March) and to inaugurate the Greek pavilion dedicated to Northern Greece, a favourite tourist destination for the Romanian public.

On 14/03 took place the inauguration of the exhibition on Tourism Exhibition Centre Romexpo, where Mr. Karaoglou had a brief meeting at the Greek pavilion with Mrs. Maria Grapini, Minister for Small Business, Business Environment and Tourism, which inaugurated the exhibition.

The following day, 15/03, Mr. Karaoglou made the official inauguration of the Greek pavilion.

The visit of Mr. Karaoglou had widespread coverage from Romanian SMEs. The Press Office of the Embassy organized a press conference on the television station DiGi24 on 13/03, while the next day in the premises of the Greek Embassy,  the Minister gave a press conference in the Romanian media and immediately after an exclusive interview with the English-language newspaper Nine o 'Clock.
