Roundtable event co-organized by the Embassy of Greece and EBRD branch of Romania, brings together Greek banks and private investors, Bucharest, 10.12.2014

The Ambassador of Greece to Romania, Mr. Grigorios Vassiloconstandakis and the Director of European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) for Romania, Mr. James Hyslop, co-organized a roundtable event in Bucharest to discuss investment and business opportunities for Greek companies in Romania. The event brought together 25 Greek private investors, including the four banks.

The seminar elaborated on both the estimates of the EBRD regarding the business environment in Romania, as well as on the entrepreneurial drive of the country, while the participants' interventions highlighted in particular the possibilities offered to Greek investors.

The Greek Ambassador stressed the active role of Greek investment in companies in Romania and pointed out that the meeting provided an opportunity for these companies and banks to team up with the EBRD in large investment projects.
