Supporting documents for those with 7 years continuous residence abroad while earning a living
1. Application by the conscript to the Consular Section of the Embassy of Greece in Bratislava.
2. Passport or Police Identity Card.
3. Certificate of Registration of the conscript in the Males Register.
4. Relevant documents relating to the conscript (conscription notice, postponement etc.)
5. Up to date tax information (employment history) or tax return.
6. Payslips from the start of the 7 year period until the end of the last month of the period.
7. Employment contract and employment certificate.
8. Detailed monthly bank account statements (a month per quarter per year). The bank statements should indicate everyday’s expenses (e.g. supermarket, ticket etc.) that prove living in Slovakia. For your convenience you may provide bank statements as follows: one month per quarter per year (e.g. January, April, July, October for every year) and the most recent month to the appointment.
9. Local authority statements or utility bills (electricity, gas, water). If these are included under a rental contract then its submission will be necessary.
10. If the person concerned is the owner of a company or self-employed the required supporting documents are defined as: company’s statute, self assessment tax return, accountant’s letter in relation to the period of activity, invoices, payslips. All the above together.
ΑΤΤΕΝΤΙΟΝ:
-Years of study abroad and periods of part-time work do NOT count towards 7 years of full time work.
-Also any educational period (PhD dissertation, medical specialization) is NOT considered as earning a living.
- If the persons concerned also resided in countries other than Slovakia, they must submit certificates from the relevant competent Greek Consular Authorities for those areas for the relevant periods.
-The documents are examined as a whole. In case that eventual missing documents are not covered by other documents proving the applicants' residence or occupation for the whole time period, more documents will be requested in due time.
Copies of all supporting documents are kept on file together with the conscript’s application, at the Consular Office.
