Necessary conditions:
1. The seller must own the vehicle at least one (1) month before signing the private contract.
2. The seller is the person whose name appears in the vehicle ownership certificate or vehicle registration document. A third party (e.g. the owner's spouse) cannot sign the agreement as the seller.
Important information: If the buyer has bought the vehicle from a dealer, the dealer issues an invoice and no endorsement is required.
Required documents:
1.In case of a private individual: personal presence of the buyer and the seller at the Consulate is required.
2. In case of a car dealer: a third party, who has an AUTHORIZATION, signed by the dealer or his legal representative with the seal of the business, the document proving that the signatory is the legal representative of the business and a signature verification by a Citizens Service Centers in Greece, as well as a recent certificate of the relevant chamber that the business exists, may present the documents.
3. Original vehicle ownership certificate.
4. Original private agreement signed by both the seller and the buyer.
5. Seller's identity card or passport.
6.Buyer’s identity card or passport.
