Greek Participation at the European Culture Street 2026

The 2026 European Culture Street took place from 17 to 18 April in Hangzhou, offering Chinese visitors a vibrant showcase of the diverse cultures of European countries. The event was co-hosted by the Delegation of the European Union to China, the 27 EU member states, and the Hangzhou Foreign Affairs Office. It featured interactive booths, live stage performances, an EU Geographical Indications (GI) exhibition, and a variety of hands-on activities.
Greece participated with a booth, combining a physical presence with the promotion of digital content. Informational materials in Chinese were distributed, highlighting Greece’s distinctive strengths in tourism, culture,and gastronomy. The Greek booth attracted strong interest and engagement from visitors.
In addition to the official tour of the event by members of the EU delegation and representatives of other European countries, the Greek booth was also visited by Li Daoqiao, Deputy Director of the Hangzhou Foreign Affairs Office.
