VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT FOR A FIXED-TERM DRIVER POSITION – DEADLINE EXTENDED

Further to the job posting for the position of Driver at the Consulate General of Greece in Toronto, which was published on Tuesday 10 February 2026, we hereby inform you that the deadline for the submission of applications is extended until 10 March 2026. The full new text of the announcement is provided below:
The Consulate General of Greece in Toronto announces one (1) full-time driver position, with a two-year private-law employment contract, which may be renewed, according to the provisions of the article 422 of the Law 4781/2021. Interested applicants are invited to submit their application and CV by Tuesday 10 February 2026, to the email address Candidates shortlisted based on their CVs will be invited for an interview.

Requirements:

Excellent knowledge of the Greek and English languages, which will be assessed during the interview.
Non-Canadian citizens must possess a valid residence and work permit in Canada at the time of application.
Greek male citizens who are subject to military service must have fulfilled their military obligations or be legally exempted.
Minimum age requirement is 21 years.
Valid driving license.
No reported accident for the last 5 years.
High school diploma.
Candidates must possess all necessary qualifications for the position. Seriousness, confidentiality, and diligence are essential attributes of the candidates.
Previous relevant experience will be considered.
