The work at the Office of Economic and Commercial Affairs of the Embassy of Greece in Tokyo includes the following:
-    Providing information and advisory services to Greek and Japanese businesses, for the development of business partnerships.
-    Supporting Greek businesses in promoting exports of Greek products and services.
-    Organizing and supporting promotional activities for Greek products and services.
-    Facilitating contacts to develop investments between the two countries.
-    Supporting cooperation between Greek and Japanese authorities on economic/commercial matters.
-    Mediating to develop synergies between organizations/agencies of the two countries.
-    Supporting business missions.
-    Supporting exhibitors at local international trade fairs.
-    Monitoring developments in bilateral trade.
-    Monitoring the economic situation in Japan.
